Front Desk Services
~ Fax, Photocopying, and Printing access for community, Postage and Envelopes provided if necessary, Lined Paper for letters, Access to Phone Services with Long Distance Phone Calls available. Information Hub – Providing information on in-house and community services. Referrals to other service providers, basic computer training, assistance and more.
Community Centre Access
~ Coffee / Tea / Water / TV / Games/ Cards / Meeting Space – every day and always accessible to the general public. It helps a community of people with little means to have a socially safe place for engagement. It helps to promote a sense of belonging, becomes an access point to receive support, and combats the effects of social isolation for those at risk. Our devoted team welcomes guests.
Computers & Telephone Services
~ Guests can access the internet to check e-mail and social networking to keep in touch with family, seek employment opportunities, access basic computer training, complete income assistance applications, and process E.I. Claims. The phone services are available for messages, calls about government services, medical services, work opportunities, to contact family, and other related needs. Guests can also access photocopy & fax services.
Income Tax Preparation
~ With Canada Revenue Agency’s ‘Community Volunteer Income Tax Program,’ eligible guests can access free income tax preparation services. We average approximately 230 tax returns per year.
