Community Legal Support
In partnership with the Legal Services Society (LSS), this program provides accessible legal support services to individuals and families throughout the Mount Waddington Region. Originally focused on supporting First Nations families with children in care or at risk of entering care, the service has since expanded to assist anyone who qualifies for legal aid across a variety of legal matters.
Our Centre is one of only two locations in British Columbia that offers an on-site Legal Services Society representative, helping bridge barriers for individuals who may face challenges navigating complex legal and government systems.
An LSS representative is available on-site every Tuesday to provide guidance, support, and access to legal resources.
