Finding Help & Support
Our Community Assistance Program provides essential support to individuals and families experiencing urgent needs or ongoing challenges. It is designed to help meet immediate needs while also connecting individuals with additional community resources where appropriate.

Services include access to food, clothing, hygiene products, personal care items, and basic household essentials. Additional support may also be available in the form of bus tickets, thrift store vouchers, and referrals to services such as crisis counselling, harm reduction, and mental health and substance use supports.

Essential supplies are available to help meet day-to-day needs, including toiletries, feminine hygiene products, baby supplies, and other personal care items.

Clothing support and laundry services are also offered, including access to clean clothing and seasonal items such as jackets, footwear, toques, and gloves.

Transportation assistance is available in the form of bus tickets to help individuals reach appointments, employment opportunities, medical services, and other essential destinations.

Emergency food hampers are also available to provide short-term relief during times of crisis.

Clothing vouchers are available by appointment every Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Emergency food hampers are available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
